Houses
In Skyrim there are five houses that the role player can purchase. Houses are among the almost expensive purchases a player tin make, but owning a house allows a thespian to shop items in it securely and can exist a welcome sanctuary after dungeon-crawling. Houses also include a bed which belongs to the histrion; player-owned beds provide a temporary boost to health and stamina subsequently sleeping in them (unless yous are a werewolf, in which case you tin can never obtain such a boost from sleeping no matter where you lot are). Buying a house may require completing sure tasks for a urban center's jarl or becoming a Thane of that city.

Note: Houses do NOT come furnished and furniture must be purchased through the jarl's steward
WARNING
There is a known bug that prevents the Weapon Racks and Plaques from working in some of these houses. This bug may exist avoided by making sure you purchase all of the house improvements earlier yous enter the house for the first time (meaning, take the gold to cover the home purchase as well equally the improvements).
Additionally, information technology would be a good idea to save your game on a "back-up" save slot before buying annihilation at all merely and then you can test all the Weapon Racks and Plaques earlier continuing with your game.
